Residential Architectural Design in Horley & Surrey

LOCAL EXPERIENCE CLEAR FEES NO PRESSURE ADVICE

I’m Ben Knight, a residential Architectural Technologist based in Horley, working with homeowners across Surrey and West Sussex. I specialise in practical, well-considered design for extensions, loft conversions and internal re-planning — focusing on what actually gets approved, built and lived in.

Whether you’re at the early idea stage or ready to move forward, I provide clear advice, accurate drawings and a straightforward process that builders and planners understand. My aim is to remove uncertainty, save time on site, and help you move forward with confidence.

HOW WE WORK

These stages below reflect the usual journey of a residential project, from initial sketches to a fully build-ready design.

Many projects such as permitted development builds are fulfilled in the Design stage, whilst more complex or costly projects would benefit from greater detail from the outset.

For pricing guidance, small projects usually involve minor changes and do not require planning permission. Extensions with internal remodelling are typically classed as medium-sized projects, with larger or more complex proposals quoted on an individual basis.
